The Palatinus has gorgeous art nouveau architecture, which made the lobby and restaurant feel truly grand. The location is perfect for exploring Pecs, right in the city center. I enjoyed the generous breakfast buffet with a range of fresh options. my room, while spacious, felt a bit outdated and lacked proper sound insulation—I could hear neighbors quite clearly at night. The wellness facilities, which I was looking forward to using, unfortunately, were not open during my stay. Despite these issues, the staff provided excellent service. I appreciated their willingness to move us to a larger room when we reported noise issues.

Excellent breakfast buffet with a wide array of choices, leaving you ready to take on the day. The art nouveau architecture blends historical charm with a lively atmosphere right in the heart of the city.
Rooms can feel outdated, with some showing signs of age and limited natural light affecting the overall ambiance. Many guests experienced inconsistencies in their accommodations, leading to varying levels of comfort .

The hotel features stunning Art Nouveau architecture, making each corner feel like a step back in time, particularly in the grand lobby and the dining area.
The room I stayed in had limited natural light, making it feel somewhat cramped and less inviting, which could use some updates.

Charming Architecture with Room for Improvement
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, particularly for its stunning Art Nouveau architecture. it felt like stepping back in time in the grand lobby and restaurant. Breakfast was a delight, with a nice variety of options served in a wonderful setting, but some room amenities felt a bit outdated, and a lack of maintenance was noticeable. it was a pleasant experience, but a little refreshing of the room standards would definitely elevate the stay.
